Ambient ionization mass spectrometry is a novel and rapid mass spectrometric technique with the characteristics of rapid analysis,simple operation and high specificity.This technique integrated with a miniature mass spectrometer could be performed to achieve the rapid screening and accurate analysis of samples without any complex sample pretreatment,showing a great potential in the screening of chemical risk substances in trade products.This review mainly focuses on the recent research progresses of ambient mass spectrometry on the screening of chemical risk substances in trade products.The future development and potential applications of ambient ionization mass spectrometry are also discussed.
