A novel method using ionic liquid independent disperse liquid-liquid microextraction(IL-IDLLME) coupled with first derivative spectra was developed and applied in the determination of tartrazine(E102) and brilliant blue FCF(E133) in soft drink,candy and jelly samples.1.Octyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([C8MIM][BF4]) showed a high preconcentration for the two food dyes,and their first-derivative spectra will not interfere with each other.Under the optimal conditions,the calibration curves were linear in the ranges of 20-1 000 μg ? L-1 for E102 and 3-150 μg ? L-1 for E103.The detection limits based on three times the standard deviation of the blank(3Sb) were 6.60 μg?L-1for E102 and 0.84 μg?L-1for E103.The proposed method was applied successfully in the determination of two food dyes in food samples without any interference.
