Au nanoparticles(AuNPs),Nafion and electrochemical reduced graphene oxide(ERGO) were modified onto the surface of a glassy carbon electrode(GCE) by one-step electrochemical co-reduction to fabricate a modified electrode of AuNPs/Nafion/ERGO/GCE.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) was used to characterize the electrode. The electrocatalytical behaviors of the modified electrode towards hydroquinone(HQ) were investigated by cyclic voltammetry(CV) and differential pulse voltammetry(DPV).Experimental parameters were optimized.A good linear relationship between oxidation peak current of HQ and its concentration was obtained in the range of 2.0-100 μmol/L and 100-80 μmol/L ,with a detection limit of 0.3 μmol/L.This fabricated electrode was successfully applied in the determination of HQ in real samples.
