Adenosine deaminase(ADA)， a kind of catabolic enzymes toward nucleic acid,has a close relationship with cell immunocompetence.ADA activity is abnormal in many diseases.Therefore，more and more researchers have been focusing on research of the relationship between ADA activity and some diseases.Analysis of the ADA activity is considered to has a very important significance in clinical diagnosis and treatment of diseases.Currently，many reports about novel analysis methods of ADA activity have been published，but no relevant reviews have been reported so far.In this paper，analytical methods of ADA activity such as colorimetric，chromatography and adapter sensor methods，are summarized，which is expected to provide references for the analysis of ADA.
