Based on the basic principles of biomineralization,calcium carbonate was induced by egg white protein（EWP） in the dialysis bag compartment under biomimetic conditions.The different morphology and polymorphy of calcium carbonate were characterized by SEM and FT-IR spectra.The results showed that calcium carbonates were all vaterite under different conditions except in the distilled water.Dialysis bag limited not only the movement of protein,but also the movement of the coordination compound of Ca2+- egg white protein,and provided a solid foundation to prepare a special morphology of calcium carbonate.
