Ni/Al2O3,Ni/CeO2-Al2O3,Ni/ZrO2-Al2O3 and Ni/ZrO2-CeO2-Al2O3 catalysts were prepared by co-precipitation method at pH 9.0 and using Na2CO3 as the precipitant.The Ni loading(mass fraction) of the catalyst was 10%.Effects of Ce and Zr on the surface bonding energy of the catalyst were characterized by XPS,and the catalytic performances of the catalysts for the autothermal reforming of methane to hydrogen were investigated by a fixed-bed reactor.The results showed that synergy of Ce and Zr can affect the bond energy of the catalyst,and Ni/ZrO2-CeO2-Al2O3 catalyst possesses the best catalytic activity among the four catalysts.
