A sample pretreatment coupled to high performance liquid chromatography with fluorescent detector(HPLC/FLD) method was developed for the determination of 7 anionic fluorescent whitening agents(FWAs)，including fluorescent brightener 353(MST)，2,2′-(1,2-ethenediyl)bis(5-((4-(bis(2-hydroxyethyl)amino)-6-((4-sulfophenyl)amino)-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)amino)-benzenesulfonicacitetrasodiumsalt(ABP)，disodium 4,4′-bis［(4-anilino-6-hydroxyethylamino-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)amino］stilbene-2,2′-disulphonate(VBL)，2,2′-((1,1′-biphenyl)-4,4′-diyldi-2,1-ethenediyl)bis-benzenesulfonicaci(4BK)，2,5-bis(5-tertbutyl-2-benzoxazlyl)phiophene(CBS)，disodium 4,4′-bis［(4-anilino-6-morpholino-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)amino］stilbene-2,2′-disulphonate(CXT) and sodium 4-［3-(4-chlorophenyl)-4,5-dihydro-5-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl］benzenesulphonate(WG) in textile.The samples were extracted with water-methanol(25∶75)，and directly qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed by HPLC/FLD.The separation of target compounds was performed on a Phenomenex Gemini 5u C18(150 mm×4.6 mm，5 μm) column by gradient elution using acetonitrile-water(containing 2.5 mmol/L ammonium acetate) as mobile phase.The calibration curves of 7 anionic FWAs showed good linearities with correlation coefficients not less than 0.999 6.The limits of quantitation(LOQs，S/N=10) were in the range of 0.1-5.0 mg/kg.The recoveries of 7 anionic FWAs in negative cotton and wool at three spiked levels ranged from 89.5% to 98.9% with relative standard deviations(RSDs) of 2.4%-4.7%.With the advantages of simplicity，high sensitivity and time-saving，this metsod has a certain practical value.
