A novel method was established to separate and purify alkaloids from Cynoglossum amabile Stapf et Drumm with cation exchange resin(CER) coupled with macroporous adsorption resin(MAR) based on dynamic tests.The result indicated that the alkaloids extracted were eluted with water and NaCl through CER and twice with ether and 50%ethanol through MAR,then the purities of heliotrine and lasiocarpine were up to 81.6%and 79.2% from 0.73%and 2.2%,respectively.Extraction yields were up to 50.6 mg/g and 92.7 mg/g from 4.6 mg/g and 10.7 mg/g,respectively.The method has the advantages of low cost,low pollution,short cycle,high efficiency and simple operation,and is suitable for popularization in industry production.
