A method was developed for the determination of tetrabromobisphenol A in textiles by ultra-fast liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(UFLC-MS/MS) with solid phase extraction.The sample was extracted with methanol by ultrasonic wave,and purified on a C18-SPE cartridge.The analyte was determined by the electrospray ionization-mass spectrometry in multiple reaction monitoring(MRM) mode.The qualitative and quantitative analysis were based on the retention time and characteristic ion pairs of the analyte.There was a linearity for tetrabromobisphenol A in the range of 1.0-100.0 μg/L,and the limit of quantification(LOQ) was 1.0 μg/kg.The average recoveries were in the range of 80.9%-95.3% with the relative standard deviations of 2.3%-5.9%.This method was rapid,accurate and sensitive,and was suitable for the analysis of tetrabromobisphenol A in textiles.
