Canada and PR.China were determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS) and inductively coupled plasma(ICP)-optical emission spectroscopy(OES).A regional discrimination model was set up using the mineral element content combined with chemometrics of Principal component analysis(PCA) and Partial least squares discriminant analysis(PLS-DA).Results showed that the PCA and PLS-DA multivariate statistical models could be used to distinguish the cherry samples from these three countries.Cherries from the United States
