Construction of 1,8-Naphthalimide-based Gold Ions Fluorescent Probe and Its Detection of Gold Ions in Environmental Water Samples

“This article uses (Z) -3-methylpent-2-en-4-yn-1-ol as the recognition group to synthesize a 1,8-naphthalimide based Au3+fluorescent probe A1. In the presence of Au3+, the (Z) -3-methylpent-2-en-4-yn-1-ol structure of probe A1 is catalyzed to form a furan structure, resulting in a decrease in its blue fluorescence. The sensing mechanism was confirmed through high-resolution mass spectrometry (HR-MS) and theoretical calculations. Probe A1 has the advantages of good selectivity, high sensitivity (5.27 μ mol/L), and a wide pH range (3.0~10.5) in response to Au3+. The rapid quantitative detection of Au3+in environmental water samples can be achieved through smartphone assisted colorimetric analysis based on probe A1 solution”
