Determination of 9 Polychlorinated Biphenyls in Groundwater by Vacuum-assisted Headspace Solid-phase Microextraction/Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry

“In response to the lack of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in water quality monitoring, experts have developed a new environmentally friendly, efficient, and sensitive analysis method for 9 types of PCBs in groundwater using vacuum assisted headspace solid-phase microextraction (Vac HS-SPME) enrichment and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) detection. This provides a new technical means for qualitative and quantitative analysis of PCBs in environmental water samples.”
